Studio Art for Kids in Westhampton Beach - Cool!

Studio Art in Westhampton BeachCouldn't resist peeking into the open door of Studio Art, a drop-in arts and crafts insta-camp for kids, run by local artists. It's on Sunset Avenue, just around the corner from Lucille's Beach Barn.

All the supplies are there for the choosing. There are painting and drawing workshops for all ages. The studio is open 7 days a week, and each art-kid leaves the same day with his or her way-cool creations.

July 4th was fun in Westhampton Beach

Westhampton BeachAh, the New York weekend life! Well worth the wait for the good ole LIRR at Penn Station to escape to beautiful Westhampton Beach!

Westhampton BeachAfter a June full of rain and cool, July 4th weekend was a gift of perfect weather. There were lines all day at Beach Bakery Cafe. And on Friday evening, the Satchel Boogie band drew a crowd out front with its funky-sweet songs.

So many cars cruising that it was hard to snap a clear picture across Main Street! Always good to return to Westhampton Beach and see Magic's Pub open for grog and chow.
